Patients with acute conditions requiring 24-hour attention receive care in an environment that provides the latest technology, combined with respect for the family. The unit serves patients with cardiac, respiratory and other medical conditions, as well as post-surgical complications. In addition, Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital's telemetry unit offers progressive care for heart patients leaving intensive care but requiring continued monitoring.

Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital's intensive care unit is part of Sutter's Electronic Intensive Care Unit (eICU®) program. Sutter Health has the only hospitals in the greater Sacramento area, and the first hospitals on the West Coast, to offer this new technology to increase patient safety.
